Scared!
I went to l&d last night was having contractions the past two days they checked me to see if I was going to have this baby in the next two weeks. I tested Positive!!! I'm praying it's a false positive im due Nov 2nd and will be 33 weeks on Wednesday ?
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I have taken two, both came out gaunt positive.
on the 6th October I did 2 test with 2 lines , 3rd test was clear blue digital and was positive 2-3 weeks I was waiting for a month for a midwife appointment.. so yesterday I started bleeding went today for a scan and they go to me no sac .. but can see a cyst or a sac outside the womb so therefore she did another test there and it was negative .. she said if it was positive it would have been ectopic pregnancy but because it was negative she said it's miscarriage. Has anyone else been through this as am so confused ?? As some saying maybe I wasn't pregnant at all and it gave me positive results
aghh!! period like cramps GO AWAYY PLEASE. I have two more weeks.

When is ur next appointment? Maybe have them check again to confirm just for ur sanity. Maybe they're wrong.

I've tested positive three times. They do those test every two weeks for me and I still test positive. And here I am still pregnant:) those tests don't mean much, it's more of a precaution. Your doctor can decide if you should receive steroid shots for baby's lungs, medicine to help control contractions, ect....either way if you were to have baby now, he or she has a very high rate and chance for survival! Don't stress to much! But make sure to ask your doctor a bunch of questions. It's always a scary thing when it comes to preemies.

Try not to stress! So many things can throw a false positive for those tests. My OB says it's far more accurate if you have a negative reading. But like a previous poster said, you are far enough along now that baby will have almost as good a chance at survival as a full term baby.

Try not to stress. As a mom of a 32 week baby born last year, I can tell you chances are your baby will be just fine at 33 weeks if you happen to deliver early although it's not ideal.

Lots of people who go early would be happy to make it to 35 weeks. That is a pretty safe time. It's good that they are aware you may go early so they can make sure bub will be ok. It would be unnerving though. I can imagine your worry. I think I will stop worrying about pre term labour at that stage. Good luck to you & bub?

Thank you guys! The test is to determine if you may go into labor in the next two weeks. It's like getting a papsmear but hurts worse cuz they can't use lube on the spectrum

The FFN test does NOT tell you that you will 100% deliver in 2 weeks. If it is NEGATIVE this a 99% chance you WON'T deliver in two weeks. If it is positive all it means is that you have protein from inside your uterus now outside. You could deliver in 2 days, 2 weeks- or you could go full term. And there are several ways you can get a false positive.
You should really only be worried about this if your doctor seems concerned- have you already dilated? Have a shortened cervix? Have regular contractions that won't stop? The positive result without those symptoms isn't as serious. Do not stress yourself out over it! I tested positive at 25 weeks- I had steroids and magnesium, and I am still here almost at 31 weeks!

I got a false positive from that test with my first at 36bweeks and somethinf dayss. I had baby at 39 weeks and like 4 days I think.
