FaceTime or Skype! That’s how we told my mom last time- it felt more like we were with her. We still haven’t told her this time- waiting for a good time.

I think some type of video chat, if y’all are able to, is the best option. If not maybe y’all make a cute video for an announcement and send it to them ??‍♀️

My brother lives out of state and I wouldn’t be able to tell him in person.

For our first, I FaceTimed from my parents house after I told them. It happened to be Father’s Day. I just said “I’m going to text you a photo of what I got Dad.” I sent it while we were connected on FaceTime and I just heard him say “Whhhaaaaattttt?!” He was shocked. It was a photo of me with a positive pregnancy test.

I haven't really announced to family and friends. But I did tell my parents the day my pregnancy was confirmed. My parents live about 6 hours away so we announced through video chat. I asked if they were ready to be grandparents for the " " time and they were a bit confused. Then I showed them the pic of the ultrasound

We ended up face timing my husbands sister who lives out of state. My husbands brother and his wife we aren’t very close to and we only see them/talk to them at family events so that’s the one I’m stumped on. They are always so busy. They have 4 kids, the mom homeschools them, dad works long hours and is going back to school for his masters degree. We tried to see if we could meet with them at our land so they could see the progress on us building our house and they responded saying they stopped out there last night once we left! ??‍♀️ UGH!

I just called my sister and told her (lives out of state) was easy enough lol
