Doppler I’m 11w 5d and I can’t find the heartbeat on my Doppler. At least I don’t think so. I can…

I'll be 12wks tomorrow and I have the ROUGHEST time finding her and when I do it's soooooooooo faint and only for about 3-4 seconds and I mean that's searching 10+ minutes I always worry as well I was tempted to try again today but it stresses me out when I can't so I'll just waiting until tomorrow appointment.. It's normal not to find her at this point I've been told I wouldn't worry she's still super small

My uterus is retroverted (probably starting to correct as it grows) which makes it difficult. I STILL have a hard time at 12 weeks unless my bladder is full! (And Im a L&D nurse so I’ve done it a million times!!) lol!

Im the same hun i found my at 9weeks 5 days which was 13 days ago n not found it since.. im 11weeks 4days now .. i keep thinkin i hear it but its not a definate as my placenta is so loud.. im high risk this time too im on aspirin and progestrone suoppositories n ive scared myself senseless esp cause i found out the suppositores could mask a miscarried still got 8days till my scan n i so scared i check 3-5 times a day for at least 15mins in hope i will find it again.. theres a part near my placenta were it sounds like a horse sort of behind the whoosing and im prayin its baby.. one of my girls was like that the whole pregnancy .. just so scared never have i not been able to find any of my childrens heartbeats xx

@katy I was told by the ultrasound tech that I have a tilted uterus, would that make a difference?

My appointment is on Monday so I don’t have much longer to wait now but it would be so nice to hear it whenever I want to know she’s ok in there. I’m terrified of having a missed miscarriage because my last pregnancy didn’t progress from week 6 and finally at 11 weeks I got a D&C. My body still thought it was a healthy pregnancy.

@sara yes that can definitely make it more difficult at this stage! And you may have an anterior placenta too! There are a ton of normal explanations for not being able to find it right now!

I have to inch my way around my tummy to find baby. I keep one hand with the Doppler and one on my pulse to tell the difference between our heartbeats lol

Make sure you use a lot of gel it makes it easier
