I had one on 11/10 and recovery wasn’t bad. I had some mild cramping and bleeding but felt fine the following day. I lost my June baby so I totally get how you feel. Hang in there

I am so sorry for your loss. I was 14 weeks pregnant when we had our d&c. D&C was August 24th. I kept calling because things didn't seem right. I bled for 46 days straight. Ended up needing a repeat d&c for retained products on Nov 3rd. Bleeding lasted 12 days. Still tracking HCG down to 0. Next blood draw is tomorrow. My situation is not normal I know. But a good cautionary tale if you don't think something is right be persistent and get the care you need.

So sorry you're going through this. I had a missed miscarriage and had a D&C at 9 weeks. The procedure itself wasn't too bad. It was pretty quick. It was a bit more painful afterwards than I had anticipated. Then the pain meds made me very constipated which was a whole other issue. Ouch. I was feeling better after about a week. I bled for 2 weeks. Once I stopped bleeding we started having unprotected sex again. I got my first period after 6 weeks. It's been 7 months and I'm still TTC. My cycles are still trying to regulate. I had mine in June 2012. I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. I was told after my first cycle we could try again. I got pregnant in October 2012 with my son. Recovery wasn't bad.

I was 3.5 months pregnant and my D&C wasn’t a nice experience.

I’m not going to lie, it’s a heavy emotional toll.

One minute you’re pregnant and the next your not. I won’t scare you with my story, because mine was a bit tricky. But I was physically ok after a week or so. The further along you are the more it takes to recover. Take it easy and watch your iron levels afterwards. Keep up your fluids too.

I bled for about two weeks. The ovulated maybe two weeks after that.
