Story of my life during my first trimester. I ended up having to cut my hours at work almost completely 'cause I was so sick and Was in and out of the ER. It'll get better. Don't feel bad. ?

I was pretty much out all of January and have called in a few times since then. At least 2 days a week, I have to leave after my 6th hour because I get way too nauseous and tired. Thank god, my job is very understanding and encourage me to leave and rest.

Don't feel bad you are making a human. Cut yourself some slack

I had to leave my job entirely because I was sick about 4-6 times a day. Hopefully you have a support system that can encourage you to relax and look after yourself and the baby!

I did it like 6 times and it killed my last evaluation. But I couldn't do anything about it. Hopefully they just understand.

Unfort. I work full time about 43 to 45 hours a week and they don't really understand. I work for 5 doctors and two managers. Just need to suck it up and do the best I can and if I need to call in here or there then so be it.

I just told my coworkers that I want to cut back to part time and if that does work for them then they need to let me go. They are not understanding at all and make a big stink every time I have to miss work for a doctor's appointment. ? I'm a FTM expecting Mo/Di twins so I have doctors appointments often .

I never missed for morning sickness but I have missed two weeks total through my pregnancy because of two bouts of kidney stones and an oral surgery I had to have done at the last minute. Luckily I work in healthcare so they all understood. I still get the b**** y looks from people who dont matter but I know how you feel. I have only missed one day of work in my whole life before being pregnant and it was for pink eye because I wasnt allowed to come in.... Kind of a ding to the pride thats for sure.
