anyone else worried about the newborn stage?
While i am excited to see my baby, i am dreading labor and delivery. And the craziness that comes after. The highs and lows, sleepless nights, breastfeeding, pumping, i honestly find it all traumatic to us ladies what we have to go thru. While i do know this is all a huge blessing, it is also rather hard. I know God saw me thru it before and hell see me thru it again, but idk just venting and a lil worried....

I think it’s all about perspective. I’ve always had really easy labors... But the rest just comes with having a baby lol. And it’s really not that bad, especially if you try to think of it all from a positive point of view.

I think everyone handles things differently. It’s hard to meet your own needs for sleep, down time, or even food in those first days and weeks figuring out how to keep this new person alive and happy...all while your body has been through trauma. Make sure to ask for help! Even if it’s a friend to watch baby while you shower or take a nap. If someone visits and asks if they can help, point them in the direction of the washer or scrub brush and let them help. It’s hard. But it’s only a season.

Honestly it is all quite scary I have 3 children so have done this a few times. My oldest is 8years old and boy I really find the newborn stage extremely easy lol my toddlers have drove me insane ?. My best advice is to get rest when baby is sleeping it’ll make it easier on you in the long run. Praying for us all lol.

I’m very nervous! I’ll have a 1 year and 7 month old when this baby is born and I’m really nervous that I won’t be able to keep up with him or that he will suffer a bit bc I won’t have as much time for him ?

I'm worried about the last few weeks because I struggled with bad SPD last time. We had a preemie and NICU stay so I'm anxious about that. And I'll have a repeat c section so I'm worried about my 2 & 4 year old at home. My husband will be at the hospital with me and we don't have care for the kids worked out. Both my Mom & Sister work at schools so mid November they will be working and busy :/ I try not to think of it all!!!
