Praying! I know how stressful this is and experienced it with my first. We were in the hospital five days because of it. As they get older (by days) the allowable levels rise so even if his numbers rise that gap may be shrinking. Hopefully that makes sense and I wish someone explained more in depth at the time. I delt with this for about 2 weeks after my loved one was born. It was frustrating but now she is fine. The biliblanket works good but I found natural light works even better.

I went through this with my son. It was so stressful and no one would really explain to me what those levels meant. Every just kept saying he will be fine don’t worry. But all I could do was worry! I will the the bili blanket did nothing for him. The best thing was the bili lamp. It looked like a suitcase that he had to sit in with just a diaper on but that worked soooo much better.
