I tried one from target. It. Honestly didnt stay in place on my jeans well and I never wore it again after just one day. I feel like maternity jeans are more comfortable and easier to wear
The belly bands for holding up your jeans that you find at target don't help much. I end up doing the rubber band trick and then using the belly band to cover it up.
The belly support bands that you can find from a place like motherhood maternity are fantastic! I borrowed one from a friend during my last trimester with my second baby and it was heaven. I'm going to buy my own this time and I definitely feel like I need one much sooner this time around.
Then there's the postpartum bands you use to help your belly go back down after baby. I used one last time and I swear it helped me go back down to normal size much faster!
I started wearing one around 8 weeks. I got it from Thyme maternity and still using it even though I've got some mat leggings and jeans too. My regular jeans still fit me pretty well so the belly band has saved me money I would otherwise have to put towards a bunch of maternity jeans!
