galaxy s6 edge Anybody already have this phone or thinking about getting it like me?

I was tossing between the S6 edge + and the Note 5. After reading reviews, holding them in my hand and talking with the salesperson I went with the Note 5 and I love it! The final esge pusher was the salesperson admitted that the edge was more fragile. I have a 2 year old who grabs my phone all the time and I just couldn't risk it. I also found looking at the screen curving was annoying.

I usually break my screen at least once and I imagine that the screen on this one would be very expensive, so I'm steering clear.

I got the S6 and passed up the edge because while it was beautiful, like pp the salesperson also told me it was more fragile and harder to find a good case to protect it.

I like the s6 edge because it is slimmer than my current phone which is the s5. I made the switch from the iPhone to the galaxy last year so it took a lot of getting used to bulkiness wise.

The s6 edge + is huge and even the s6 is still big ..i guess I'll continue to read reviews. I never have broken the screen on my phone before and I never allow dd to play with it. We gave her our old phones to play with so I'm not worried about that sense of it.

All I do is pretty much go on the internet, listen to music etc. Just the basic stuff. So I was thinking the note is a little out of my league.

We're not paying for the upgrades and our bill won't be going up that much more so money isn't an issue. I always get one of the newer models because I know in the end if I went for an older model I'd wish I had the newer one lol

I have a couple weeks to decide so off to Google I go.

I have the S6 and I LOVE it! The edge looks fragile and I don't know of a case that will protect it.

My hubby has the edge and a case that covers the edge is like a flap thing but he loves it had it since April

I Only use it for the Basic Things you do.

@little any specific reason why you didn't consider going for the standard s6? Curious!

Honestly I didn't even see the S6 lol when I was looking at reviews the Note 5 and S6 edge plus were comparable. Once I saw how fragile the edge was I decided on the note 5 because I did still like the specs and just really enjoyed it. I also wanted the most updated phone as I would not upgrade for another 2 years. The S6 edge plus and Note 5 came out almost the same time. So they were the only 2 I had mostly researched.

I just switched from a iPhone to a s6 edge. I love it but hate it at the same time. Texting I'd difficult because the edge part has buttons too so you always end up putting random letters in words. It also doesn't take SD cards so you would need a bigger GB s6. Other than that it's a good phone. If you want a iPhone the guy at verizon said to wait till November when the iPhone 7 is released.

@little oh, okay yeah I know nothing about phones! I keep forgetting the note is behind one so in my mind the standard s6 would be come out with the other s6 edges. I can't seem to remember that the note is behind!

Hmm, still thinking on what I want to do. I don't think i ever struggled with a new phone before I normally just pick one lol
