UPDATE!!!!: So the redness has started to go away but im still super nausious and in pain and still achy but ive got pain meds and nausious meds so thats helping im going back to work today peobably just a half day but im goingto stay as long as i can i miss my kids ( i work in day care ) so good luck to me!! Ive been getting these shiver attacks where i shake uncontrollably and im so cold!! I think its when i miss a pain med dose. Not sure is that common???

All I’ve heard is that mastitis usually needs antibiotics? I’m not sure how accurate this is since I’ve never had it..

Yep looks just like how mine was! They gave me antibiotics and I nursed around the clock trying different positions. Was advised to take lecethin pills too! About a week later and I was back to normal. Hang in there mama

My milk had decreased alot since it happened too but ours all better now. I'm just low on milk suply

Put some warm compress then gently massage it to express the milk. It happens to me all the time and it was very painful, it made me cry once!

I was like this with my 3rd bubs at around 10 months

I got pregnant lol so not sure if it was my hormones clocking back on that caused my milk to go whacky

I literally leaned forward grabbing at my boob around my armpit where the heat ended and pulled in a running motion toward my nipple while expressing with my other hand.

I cried and I swear I tasted blood in my mouth

I did it for like 2 or 3 minutes I couldn't handle it

But once the milk came out and it softened I fed bubs and did it again hours later

I had alot of improvement

I also had chills and that but couldn't get any antibiotics I drank rosemary tea.

Hope it gets better
