hip injections( corticosteroids) and period

Ok so i havent had a period in months like 5 months to be exact. Yesterday i went and had a injection put into my hip i suffer with SI Joint Pain so anyways i wake up at 5 am because baby girl wont go back to sleep yet and i put her in her play pin and i got to the bathroom i look at my underwear and theres two drops of blood on them so i wipe and omg so much blood...is this a result of the injection??? Its just so weird having a period after nit having one for 5 months!!! Idk...
