Making a quilt out of Neoshas baby clothes i cant wait to show u the finished product

I've saced some of Ander's so I can make a quilt out of them

You know i didnt know how much i had till i laid it out i could. Make like 3 quilts out of this. Its crazy but im just going to make one big huge one for her to use as an adult to give to her baby and so on and so forth

Now u got me wanting to make one lol but I do not sew so maybe I'll have to ask my mom lol

Making a quilt is so much fun ive been making them since i was 10.

Oh wow really that's awesome I'll have to ask my mom to teach me lol she tried to teach me to crochet hahaha that was a joke I couldn't do it for the life of me

I'm soooo going to do this I wish I still had my preemies clothes I would have been able to make something that lasts.

I made her a doll of her first sleep suit that fit her and put her first beanie on it.

But it's been pulled and fought over now it's a little tattered ?

I'm going to see what clothes I can dig up

Im making every last bit of it. My grandma taught all of us my sisters and i that is and she even taught my husband how to sow. But now that she cant do everything that she used to its up to us to teach our children. She still supervises but i do everything her entire basement is a sewing room. And i knew how to crochet before i knew how to quilt. Its easy once you get the concept.

Ohhh I did this with our older boys clothes! It was such a tedious task but the result was worth it!

I taught my oldest to crochet but not sew yet.

Will you use the whole garment ? Like the top part will be the writing or pic from the clothes but the under part of the quilt will be the other parts ??

I want to do this maybe with bits and pieces of my kids clothes from my older kids and some of my bubs kids to remmeber this time maybe with something if dh and I in the middle ?

I'm going to look it up on YouTube. If you have any suggestions please let me know

Go on pintrest and look up baby clothes quilt boy if you have a boy and girl if you have a girl. It will give you lots of ideas. But yes im using the entire front and im using the back to make pillow cases. For when she transitions in to a big girl bed. Pintrest is where i get my ideas and patterns
