@honeymoon, it can be hard to visualize. There are some patterns I start and think, there is no way... Oh wait. Haha

@bmoss I don't think so. I had a lady sit with me and teach me to chain (the very first step) and then a double crochet (which I learned later I was actually doing wrong haha), finally how to read a pattern.

Pattern reading can be tricky, bc people tend to have their own way of doing things, but I have figured out how to finagle things to work.

After she taught me those basics, I learned the rest from YouTube.

My 11 year old daughter has also taught herself from YouTube. I gave her the basics and she has gone from there herself (we tend to butt heads when working together lol).

Is this hard to learn? I need a new hobby lol.
