Skate: its mostly just time consuming. I mean, its got about every type of stitch you could ever imagine in it somewhere. Lol

There are one or two rounds that gave me fits, and they were fairly early on. Any mistakes ive made, i have been able to fudge so they arent noticeable at all, unless you really know a lot about crochet.

Also, i actually dont have much in this yet... i bought 9 skeins, and am not half thru the yarn yet. The 9 skeins cost me $35 :)

I think this is amazing!! Hand made gifts are always my favorite. They mean so much to me. I still have cards and drawings from when I was in middle school lol. Something about the time someone put into something makes it so much more meaningful?

Oh also, im drawing a blank this second on who asked about difficulty, i forgot to mention last night... she has the pattern broken down.into sections that are totally manageable. I think 6 rounds or so per section. It takes me a day or 2 to get thru a section right now, but my rounds are rather large now haha

Also, she has tons of links to video tutorials and she has several pics per round, showing where stitches should be falling. She makes a very intimidating project much easier to.swallow.

I'm 22, and love it too. Like others have said, the colors aren't my thing. I love neutrals and earth tones, they are my fav, but the blue throws it off for me.
