Whats the most Accurate way to take a 5 yr olds temperature?

Probably orally. I wouldn’t take a rectal temp at that age

A nurse told me oral temp is the best at That age. My dh tried to tell me rectal was the most accurate and I called the nurse who thought it was hilarious that he would suggest that with a 4 year old.

That stomach virus is running rapidly everywhere! We think we might be over it after 11 days. Poor baby ?

If it rises any higher I will be taking him in. I'm so exhausted I really don't want to be in a hospital setting again but for my babies I will.

Easiest- mouth or armpit

I usually do armpit cuz my son tries to bite or spit out the thermometer bit he's 3 so not really used to it
