PPD.

I think I may have PPD. I never experienced anything like that with my first so at first I was just putting it to the side as if it's just my hormones out of whack. But I can just start crying out of nowhere and I've been stressing and overwhelmed a lot. I can't even talk about myself possibly having PPD without crying. I have my 6 week checkup tomorrow so I'm gonna be bringing it up to my doctor.

There's not too many meds they can prescribe while nursing :/ but the ones they can won't effect your supply. At least it didn't for me. I never found anything that worked for me. Good luck!!

Just let your OB know you're nursing and they will put you on breastfeeding friendly medicine! There's no shame in admitting you're suffering, especially when it comes to something like PPD.

I feel awful and embarrassed by it. I know I shouldn't but I can't help it. I told my SO barley right now that I think I have PPD and I feel like I'm failing him and my kids as a mother. ?

There's plenty of breastfeeding friendly medications out there, I was put on Zoloft after DD was born.

There is NO SHAME in having ppd, seriously. It doesn't make you a bad mom, and admitting you think you have it shows you want to be the best mother and wife possible, which makes you a great mom ☺ PPD presents itself differently in all women, it doesn't mean you want to hurt yourself or you baby, so don't let anyone make you feel bad about it! Good luck tomorrow!
