Baby blues?
My SO went back to work today and he will be working 2 jobs for the next 2 weeks, starting at 10am and he will be getting home around 130am. Today he only works 1 job and he went in at 4pm. I just got really overwhelmed and I was crying while I was pumping for my baby, I don't think I can do it without my SO here with me. I guess I am having a hard time adjusting to being a SAHM to 2 kids. It's barley day 1 and I feel like I just cannot do it. ?

You can do it, honey!!!! Take a deep breath. Calm down. It's totally normal to feel overwhelmed. It will take a bit to get a swing of it. But you can do it. The second day out of the hospital I was ALL alone with two kids and I got through the day. I reminded myself I could do it. Is it hard? Oh my, yes. But take it little by little. It was take a while to adjust.

Oh no, love. I'm sorry you're sad. It's a HUGE adjustment going from one child to two. It takes time to learn how to create a balance between both kids, and it's even harder to do by yourself. Just remember that your SO is doing what he can to support you and your kids so that you guys can have a great life with everything you need.
My husband works long and late hours as well. When I had our first child, I was very depressed for months without him. I hated not having him around and I was so overwhelmed. I didn't know how hard it was going to be for me to adjust to him going back to work for 60 hours a week. But it got so much easier as time went on. My kids keep me company all day, and they definitely keep me busy until my husband comes home. Sometimes I even enjoy time to myself before you husband comes home.
You're not alone. If you ever need to vent or anything, my inbox is always open. It'll be okay. ❤

I didn't think it would be hard. Or at least this hard. Trying to give both the attention they need, especially with a newborn. I definitely didn't think I would become so overwhelmed either. My SO called me on his break and I just broke down into more tears, I don't know exactly why, but just hearing his voice made me miss him being home so much. I don't think he knew I was crying either. I wanted to tell him but I didn't want to worry him or sound pathetic. How do you ladies do it? I'm so exhausted and just can't seem to function and I don't know if I'll ever get the hang of it. I want to take my oldest out to the park but it's too cold for my baby to be out. I don't know what else I can do with him besides playing with his toys with him or coloring. He doesn't really like to cuddle with me anymore. He just seems so independent and doesn't want me to help him with anything. Only when he is hungry or thirsty.
But thank you, @pp. It means a lot that you'll hear me out whenever!

Eventually, everything will become second nature to you. It may seem impossible now, but you'll learn how to balance your time between both kids before you know it. I remember being so overwhelmed for about the first week of my husband going back to work, but I adjusted rather quickly. I had no choice, just like you have no choice. And remember, there's no shame in asking for help.
