I have read many post on here on how family members voice their opinion on the parents decided name for their LO and I never thought that'd happen to me. Well today, I told my sister on what me and my SO decided to name our baby boy and she literally just laughed at me and told me to change it. I told her that we aren't changing for no one and that I didn't care what anyone thinks.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Many people are trying to figure out the name we have picked out but we just won't budge. We definitely will not be sharing as we do not intend to change it and we do not need any negativity surrounding it. Stick to your name, try not to let it bother you.. At the end of the day, it is your child and a wonderful name you and your SO have decided on, that's all.

Thank you ladies. ? We fell in love with the name and I didn't want to announce it on here til baby comes but I don't mind anymore. It just truly hurt my feelings that she laughed in my face.

Forget her and her opinion. It's your kiddo do as you please. Everyone always has an opinion about something. And not be rude (I know that's your sis) but sounds like she's got some growing up to do. Very rude of her.
