Can I just say how awesome my mil is?! I was fussing to my dh for some chocolate cake because I was too lazy to make some. He goes to work and tells his mom (he works maintenence in her building). So she drives all the way up to my house with cupcakes and then she takes me to olive garden. My fat self is so full! Ate three bowls of soup! Not all mils are evil

How sweet of her! I remember a few months ago I was feeling down and my mil and sil went to get me 3 different slices of chocolate cake because they weren't sure which was my favorite. It was so thoughtful.

I always read mil horror stories and I agree not all are evil, mine and I have came along way, she is very protective of her kids but she knows my boundaries with most things she is always there for my kids and does any and everything we need. She currently has my two children while I am having this baby and s.o. is working to get our new house remodled, and working at the hospital. Yay for good mils
