Hemangioma on Layla' s face
Hemangioma on Layla' s face
So I forgot to update!! We got her hemangioma looked at, and the dr prescribed a topical ointment to apply, twice a day. It's supposed to help shrink it and fade. We've been using it for almost 2 weeks now.

Cool! Any idea when you should see results?

No idea. But they said they do see results quicker with the ointment as opposed to letting go away on its own.

Aww yay that's awesome hun ❤️?

That’s awesome can’t wait to see her results

Yay. Do you mind telling me what’s the ointment - just so I can have it in my head for potential treatment.
deleted-user·
That's good news. Will it fully shrink it and make it go away or will she always have a little beauty mark?

Great news!!!! Hope it works for you.

That’s awesome!

That's exciting! Great now I'm going to have to mentally prepare myself for even more cuteness?! Layla stop it! You're already the cutest!??
I'm excited to see her progress ☺️

Thanks ladies, it's gonna be hard picturing her without, since it's a part of her!! But she will be happier without it. Her glasses will press uo against it at times and I feel like it's just gonna pop!! That'd be scary....

Awww you're such a sweet loving mom Amanda.

Has it been working so far? My little girl has three and one is quite large. It doesn’t annoy me, in fact i love them but I’m afraid for when she grows older as kids can be so cruel. I would NEVER dream of surgery to remove them but something simple like a cream I would consider trying try

Cathy- it seems to be doing something. It's changing color a bit. But it's still the same size. It's gonna take some time. Without treatment, it can take 11 years before it's gone. The ointment will get rid of it faster. But no one could give me a timeframe. If this don't work, then oh well we tried. Surgery isn't for us either.
