When its time for bed do you dress baby warmer? Do you dress differently during the day as opposed to night? How do I know if she is too warm or too cold?? What temp do you keep your house at?

We keep her in a onesie, with a long sleeve sleeper during the day, and same thing at night, except we wrap her in a sleep sack. Our house is generally 65-70 degrees through out the day and night. Plus our house is smaller, so 65 doesnt seem so cold. Im just curious how everyone else dresses baby!

Yea I'm in Ohio. It's 85 one day then 60 the next.

I dress my guy the same day and night. Right now he's been in long sleeves all the time, mostly in sleepers. One night our room seemed cooler so I put an extra blanket on him. I live in Indianapolis and we are experiencing the same crazy weather. Just pick a temperature already and no more rain!

I dress him the same. Really depends on what's clean when I have to change his clothes. This kid pees through 4 outfits a day. During the day I'll put socks on him. At night I prefer bodysuits that can cover up his feet and I wrap him a sleepsack swaddle.

@maddz when you change his diaper do you make sure his penis is pointing down towards the diaper? That could prevent him peeing on his clothes if it's coming up out of the diaper.

He pees himself right as I open his diaper. I try to put a little washcloth over him but he flails around so much it gets everywhere. Thank god we rarely have leaks now once I realized I had to make sure his penis had to be pointing down.

Normally just a onsie during the day with some sock, I'll put pants on him if we go out or people come over but I change his diaper 600 times a day so pants gets annoying. I keep a blanket handy but we keep our house at 74. At night I do a gown and sometimes socks but he HATES being swaddle so I don't worry about covering him up and being to hot. The nurse always told me once they have been fully dressed for 39 min stick your hand down their shirt and feel their chest to tell if they are hot or cold. If he feels super cold I put a hat and extra pair of socks on and they usually warms him right up ?

@mad look up peepee teepee ? I got some at my shower and thought they were the dumbest things ever but now they are a life saver. He very seldom knocks them off.

She's usually in a onesie (short or long sleeved bc out weather is warm one minuet and cold the next). Sometimes she has on pants. She sleeps in a swaddle or sleep sack and has no pants on. We did the sleeper thing but just onesies are so much easier for now. Baby has no patience when getting changed. Once it's real warm, she's a tad older and we spend more time outside I'll have her in her cuter clothes.

We have central air so its chilly in our house so he sleeps in a footsie and is swaddled. I play it by ear during the day, but it's usually just a onsie and a blanket that I can take off and put on.

I was told to keep her in one more layer than what I have on, but I'm not sure if shes getting too hot! How would I know?

If I'm home all day I'll sleep her on a onesie (mameluco) don't know what they're called in English to be honest, she gets cold super fast and she'll be fuzzy when she is the way I know is by her hands if her hands are freezing then she's freezing if I'm out and about I dress her up

I usually feel to see if his body feels warm or if he's getting red. But I also follow the one more layer than me rule. So what I do is put a sleeveless undershirt on his and then a full body suit and the halo swaddle sack. I figured since we wear one layer of clothes and a heavy blanket this should be good enough for him.

Thats exactly how we dress her!! But fiance worries sometimes if shes too hot.

I think she will let you know by crying and screaming!
