Don't know what to title this long post...
I'm 26w4d today. I'm struggling. Struggling with this pregnancy!!! Up until now, I've been feeling really good about this pregnancy. But now I'm just so uncomfortable!! I'm in pain, I'm short of breath all the time, I wanna burn ALL my bras, I can't sleep. It. Sucks. I'm to the point now, where my maternity leggings (with the full belly panel) feel tight on my belly. They're not tight, it's just very bothersome to have ANY clothing on my belly. Restricting, it feels like. I waddle, I can't stand for more than 10 minutes without my feet going numb, I have CONSTANT heartburn, I feel like a whale, my farts smell like dead animals, my leg goes numb in my sleep, and it feels like baby is gonna fall out every time I stand up!! OMG!!!!

Oh honey, it gets worse....and then so much better. You can do it, and you will. But remember, you are bound to be exhausted (you are making a human), and your hormones are CRAZY right now. This is my third pregnancy and my first two were so amazing. I thought pregos who moaned and cried were big old wimps. Annnnd...pregnancy number three- I'm sick, I'm in pain, I can't stop pooping ( I honestly can't even say my farts smell as good as dead animals).
You will make it, it might suck...but what other option do you have?
Go get yourself a pedicure (if you aren't at risk for preterm labor), drink some sprite/OJ in a wine glass and pretend it's wine, lock yourself in the bathroom and take a warm bubble bath.
Oh, and if the baby falls out...that's the easiest labor ever. I felt like that for the last few months...buy a belly band. So sexy (?).
Good luck momma!

@kclark thanks so much for this!!! I understand everyone experiences pregnancy differently but it's just nice to know others feel the same.
I don't WANT to be the prego girl who cries and moans all the time!! But my gosh...I think that's who I'm turning into!!! My mommy coworkers probably don't even wanna talk to me anymore lol

? I cried the other day (like, sobbed with snot running down my face, gasping for air, likely making the ugliest cry face ever)....by the time I got myself together, and gave my hubby enough time to get really freaked out...I explained to him that I was just tired of puking every time I ate. He rolled over and started snoring, which obviously pissed me off. If I'm miserable, everyone in a 10 mile radius obviously should be too.
I never used these group posts for my first two babes. It's been my go-to this time around. Misery loves company

Omg I don't know what I'd do with out this app!!! But maybe that's why I'm so whiny....if I have to be miserable, someone else should be too!!! Lol
I'm sorry this time around for you isn't too good! I hope the morning sickness doesn't last too long!!! Congratulations!!!!!

I had horrible morning sickness for the first 14wks that left me unable to work. I was dizzy all the time. Second trimester brought horrible hip and sciatic nerve pain. I am horribly constipated. I now have varicose veins. I have moments of feeling pretty good, but the blissful 2nd trimester thing hasn't really hit me. I am bracing myself for the what's ahead!
Hang in there! I'm definitely jealous of the women who have easier pregnancies, I'm only 22 wks!

Oh my gosh I could have written this myself. My last pregnancy was horrible I was beyond uncomfortable I don't know why I thought this one would be any different well maybe because I had three other pregnancies were I felt kinda normal.
This pregnancy definitely takes the cake maybe it's because I'm pregnant and was not trying to get pregnant (failed vasectomy) but I'm only 21 weeks and I'm seriously thinking how am I going to last another 19 weeks??? The gas is unreal, I now have an umbilical hernia (never had one before) my pants feel extremely tight and uncomfortable then add a belly band to support my hernia I can't, I mean I really can't as soon as I get all dressed and then add my belly band I just wanna cry. I begin tearing at my clothes trying to pull them off or loosen them. I'm overwhelming everyone else because I am so dang miserable .
I could go on but just know your not alone..

Right. I forgot to mention sciatica. ???
I'm sorry you ladies are also experiencing this ugly side of pregnancy!! I keep trying to tell myself, that this is only temporary.

I know what it feels like to have those miserable moments where you feel like it's never going to get better.. But trust me, it will! You just have to take it one step at a time and make sure you're being as easy on yourself and as self-pampering as possible. Go to sleep as early as you can and shower (or bathe) at night (I find that helps with sleep.) 1. It feels amazing and zonks you instantly and 2. It's more time to sleep in because you don't have to shower in the morning! And although you're probably peeing constantly, try to drink as much water as you can. It makes a huge difference for me. Remember it WILL get better, and you will have some moments of relief. And unfortunately it will probably get worse.. And then maybe better again, etc, until that little bean pops out! Take it easy on yourself mama, you're doing amazing!

You will have good days and bad. I'm 31 weeks and I swear I felt my worst around week 27....
