Shredded Chicken Sandwiches?!!!
I need help ladies!! My mom and sister are planning my baby shower, it'll be in March. They want to make your boring, traditional baby shower food, shredded chicken sandwiches!! There's nothing wrong with those, but I don't like them and I would prefer something different. Sooooo I need to come up with suggestions to pass along to them!!

Haven't had one but get party food and burgers and salad and sweets and cake its your baby shower tell them you don't want the usual stuff

You could do sliders, meatballs and other appetizers. At my last shower we had chicken spinach lasagna, regular lasagna, rolls, salad and fruit. It was perfect, simple and delicious. I know people who have done brunch types of food as well. I say whatever you want, you should get

For my shower, we were on a budget and were planning on feeding 20+. We made a large pan of baked ziti, build your own subs, pasta salad, buffalo chicken wing dip, crockpot meatballs, various chips/dips, and cupcakes/cookies.
And now I'm hungry and would love more chicken wing dip lol

How about they use that shredded chicken for enchiladas!! :) mmmm....
I usually make enchiladas or enchilada casseroles, where i throw all the ingredients in shredded, i did that for potluck dinner at church, which everybody loved. I used the green sauce.

I was thinking of having two different kinds of pasta (spaghetti and tortilini Alfredo) with salad bar and various breads. Or a "cravings table" with all the random appetizers I've been craving. That might be too pricey though.
