Numb leg?
For the past week, I've been waking up in the middle of the night to a numb leg. It's always my left leg too!! It's happens at least 4 times a night. Is it because I'm mainly sleeping on my left side?? Anyone else experience this? I'm just afraid of blood clots in my leg, since I sit all day for work....

It's something called sciatica I get it ever single night in both my legs and it wakes me up I find if I lye on my back for a second and then turn back over it goes away. Till the next time it wakes me up.

That's from sciatica?? I used to have that early on in my pregnancy. It comes and goes. But I usually only get it while I'm sitting at work. And the pain would shoot down the back of my right leg. Never caused it to go numb....
But yes. That's what happens. I move onto my back, it goes away, and then wakes me up again. Ugh. It sucks!!

I'm gonna ask my dr about it for sure though. Wanna make sure it doesn't have anything to do with my circulation

It's definitely sciatica. There's a nerve in your lower back that gets pinched causing the shooting pains, numbness. Sitting for long periods of time can cause the pinching. It use to happen to me before pregnancy all the damn time. Just stretch it out frequently

Yup, I've got bad sciatica and if I stay on my back? My right foot goes completely numb!

Had my dr appt today and asked him about this...he did say sciatica. Which surprises me, cuz it feels COMPLETELY different than what I've experienced before from it. Oh well. At least I'm not developing blood clots in my leg. It still makes me nervous though...cuz it only happens when I sleep in my left side...and that's the side I pretty much HAVE to sleep on. Here's to many more pre-baby, sleepless nights!! ???

I had that it's what pp just mentioned. It started in my 1st tri and went into my 2nd trimester. I used to have tingling feelings and I couldn't sleep or lay on my left side at all, if i did it would go extra numb and itch. Like I thought I was either getting a rash or eczema breakout for how much I scratched my upper left thigh where I experienced numbness but now that I think about it I just realized I don't have that issue anymore. I'm currently in my 3rd tri. I get charley horses even now and then...I mean it's kinda numb near my upper left thigh but it doesn't bother me to lay on my left side no more
