Don't Lose Hope: My TTC Journey

It's crazy to me! Every month we have been TTC, I'd know the day I was ovulating. And nothing. Did all sorts of research. Fiancé changed his habits. Used a pillow with the laptop, started wearing looser undies, no more hot tubs or baths. Been trying for a year. Went to dr and got looked at, TWICE and everything on my end was good. Got his sperm tested. Came back good!! But nothing!! The last time I got looked at which was August 4th, dr mentioned to me I should try OPKs. Alright, I admit. I've never tried those. So I ordered some online, got them and tried one. Negative. Missed my ovulation. Ugh. So FRUSTRATING!! Didn't even know when I ovulated or if I even did. Oh well. Next month was my thought. Then, on August 24th the craziest thing happened. I tried one of my cheapie, online pregnancy tests, that came with my OPKs. Why not right? I have an abundance of them and for some reason, us females LOVE taking HPTs...so I did it. Saw the very most faintest line possible. Whaaat?? No way. These are cheap and I've never used them before, was my thought process. But I couldn't just leave it there. I HAD to test with my last First Response tests. So I waited as long as I could, about 2 hours and bam. POSITIVE!!!!!! Ahh!! Clear as day!!! Fiancé and I were dancing around with joy, couldn't hold back my tears!!! Oh my gosh, this is ACTUALLY happening!!! Still can't believe it. I truly do believe whole-heartedly, that it will happen when it's meant to happen. All the tracking, and testing won't even matter, if it's not the right time. At this point in our life, we just made some big decisions and started taking steps towards our goals, and 3 weeks later....we are expecting. The reason I'm sharing this, is to let the TTC ladies know, not to lose hope. It WILL happen. When it's supposed to :)
