So if he spits up a lot maybe he is eating too much at once. I can't imagine how he'd be able to eat 14 oz in one sitting. Do you burp him after he eats? Maybe he is just crying from gas pain. I breastfeed but when my baby gets a bottle of breast milk she only eats 4.5-5 oz in one sitting. She's 4 months old. She never spits up.
I get where your coming from. I posted about this. My son was eating 15+ of formula, on top of 30 minutes of nursing. I introduced rice cereal a few weeks ago, maybe 3 (my dr said it was fine) he gets 1 tsp of rice cereal 3 times a day, but 2 - 3 oz of formula after the cereal. Rest of the day he's breastfed. Definitely talk to your dr. Maybe formula/breast milk is no longer satisfying his hunger. That's why I had to start rice cereal. Good luck mama! :)
He has acid reflux and is on medicine for it. We cut back his formula because I thought I was over feeding him but the doctor said to go back to 7. He's been on cereal since two months due to acid reflux. It's not a gas pain Cry, its not a pain cry at all, it's give me more food cry. Lol I'll try the paci.
My DD did that & I found out she was lactose intolerant. We had to switch to Enfimil Prosobee & she seriously did a 360 & is THEE happiest baby, she'll legit wake up giggling & rarelyyyy cries! Maybe talk to his dr about it :) hope that helps some! Poor baby boy!
Krystal! My daughter had reflux and I tried lots if different formulas and Kirkland is awesome! She is doing great since u swapped to it! And rarely spits up anymore. It's the Costco brand.
