That's a reaction! Looks like your LO is sensitive/allergic keep this pic to show the doc next time and get their medical opinion but I wouldn't use tape or band-aids. Try paper tape, tegaderm, or co-ban next time they need shots
My little brother does that when he wears bandaids. He's allergic to the glue that keeps them stuck to your skin. He has to use gauze and hospital tape whenever he needs a bandaid.
Reaction. They actually don't n33d band aids after a shot. Our doctors office does none, just hold a tissue or gauze there and it's fine. Did this with my first too. The nurse has said a lot of babies can have a sensitivity so they don't do it unless you want a bandaid

Thanks. They did tell me he had sensitive skin and I use all that special soap and detergent. Should I call doc or wait it out?

That looks like my mom after she comes in contact with latex. :/
You might want to call the Dr and see if the want you to come in about it.

Reaction. I get the same thing from bandaids and surgical tape (the clear tape they use in hospitals) it's bad. It hurts and gets so itchy!

I do this with the fabric type bandages. It will fade, but I'd let the doctor know, so they don't use them anymore.

Its probably the adhesive on the bandage or a latex allergy.

This happens to me! I'm allergic to the adhesive from bandages...it should fade in a day or so! I'd just keep an eye on it.
