I went to my 4 week appt yesterday and got on birth control, she said its effective immediately. Got home and of course my husband was ready to go! (Lol) but we decided to still wear a condom out of fear of an unplanned pregnancy. Anyone else have this fear?!

Yea I'd prob use condoms the first month of getting on it. That usually what my drs tell me!

I'm so scared of getting pregnant again lol. My boyfriend doesn't like wearing condoms with me and I really don't either. But we don't want no more kids anytime soon. What kind of birth control did you get ?

I got the IUD. And I'm glad that we both "wanted" to wear one so it wasn't an issue. Wonder how long the fear will last until we decide not to lol!

I had the Mirena iud put in Wednesday and my doctor said it's effective in 48 hours. It was a good thing you had a back up method.
