Amen! I think some of us are just a tad hormonal in this last month lol! Let's all take a breather. We're all here to share, read, and ask questions (my teacher used to say "no question is a stupid question"). We have to support and empower each other. Sheesh lol
Thank you! Just seems like more people are being attacked than helped. I totally agree, no question is stupid, especially for a first time mom who has no idea what's going on! ?
But just like you have your views on it, I have mine also. In my OPINION, I think that even if mamma is tired, sore, sick of being pregnant, wants her body back, all of that.. We signed up for a 40 week pregnancy. Pregnancy sucks, but babies will come when THEY are ready, not us. I'm 39+1 and so done being pregnant and I'm getting very impatient, yeah I'll eat a whole pineapple just for fun, or go on a million walks, but I wouldn't ask a doctor to put artificial drugs in my body to force my baby to come when she doesn't want too yet, just for the hell of it and because "I'm too tired of being pregnant".
If someone has a health reason, by all means induce induce induce! Health and safety of mamma and baby comes first! But elective... Are any of us going to get to choose when baby sleeps through the night? Or when their hungry? Nope. We all knew getting pregnant we can't choose when baby comes, so I don't see a logical reason to force it to happen if there is no health concern.
Like I said though, this is my OPINION. It's okay for it to be different than yours. I'm not going to go on someone's post if they are choosing elective induction and say things like, "how the hell could you you are so inconsiderate and a blah blah blah". I'll wish the mamma best of luck and a healthy delivery.
You would like people to respect your opinion on that is a woman's choice, all I ask is that you respect mine that it is unnecessary.
Omg you took the words right out of my mouth! Lol, I couldn't agree more! That's why I don't even hardly post on here.. I especially don't ask questions or for opinions, but I've even been attached because of MY opinion in response to someone else's post where they were asking for others with like minded views. It's ridiculous.
I don't feel like you attacked anyone! I myself have my opinions about things to. I personally wouldn't do the castor oil thing, but like you said I'm not going to go psycho crazy on someone if they want to lol. I'm 39+4 and only thing I do to "induce" is walking, which hasn't helped cause I'm still fully closed ?
@msbrown, yes ma'am I agree that's why in my post I said if someone ask a question I understand there will be feedback, but if not and have already done it/has induction or whatever they plan on doing already planned, I'm sure "baby bump doctors" aren't going to changed their minds.
@Hvilla I thought about not posting anymore because of how rude these girls have gotten, but then I decided I'll stay and they can go if they don't like it ??
I agree I think this app was designed to get help, advice, share experiences, learn, educate, and be nice not to judge others or call them out. Those people need to stay away from this app, especially these last few weeks of pregnancy, last thing needed are negative vibes!!

Also if you ask a question on a public forum it does invite answers you may not like.

I agree with you totally. To those who are annoyed, keep it to yourself. We are all grown women and can make our own choices.
