Also, be aware that not everyone gets regular contractions.
Mine were literally NEVER regular, even after upping pitocin 3 separate times, and even during pushing. I always had a few that were where they should be, and then a random couple that were spaced out much further.
With my first 2 labors my contractions never got closer than 5min apart, even during pushing. Some were strong, some were weak, some were short, some were long, then my boys popped out. Lol

I dont think it matters. If they are the real ones, it doesnt matter what position you're in they wont stop or go away. Are you contracting?

I've been having BH for weeks now. 7-10 minutes apart. They seem to have gotten more painful tonight with lower back pain.

I agree that not all contractions will be consistent. Mine never hit the 1 minute mark, but I knew it was real labor. .. my son was born Saturday.
