It is not always the case that you have contractions in your back and stomach and they get hard. My labor felt like really really really bad period cramps. My contractions were all in my pelvis. I didn't feel anything in my back or stomach and I had a natural birth so if you are having really bad period cramps call your doctor and let them know. You could be in early labor. I did have braxton hicks before labor and I felt a hardness and tightness in my stomach but it was not like that at all during my labor.
Thank you. I am having tightness and period like cramp. But they are not consistent at all. Maybe one or two every hour or so. Just excited to finally be experiencing something :) thank you ladies!!

Contractions are consistent and get closer together and you dilate bh usually stop

Contractions your whole tummy to around your back get hard BH will have soft spots around your belly.
