low lying placenta?? any experiences
So has my 20 week scan yesturday and iv been told I have a low lying placenta. No covering the cervix but very close to the cervix. As soon as the sonographer saw it she was like yep you are gonna need a lot of check ups with this pregnancy and it's made me really scared. I have had a c section before and was really wanting a vbac. Do any of u have experiences with this ??

Don’t panic it can move. Mine moved they just scanned at 28 and 36 weeks to be sure. Didn’t cause any problems but can explain any bleeding so if you have any you need to be checked xx

Hi. At my 20 week scan i too got told i had low lying placenta. Placed on pelvic rest for 8 weeks and i went back yesterday for my 28 week scan and it had moved but they will re check at next scan also. They percentage rate of placenta moving are very positive xxx

Fab thanks girls I need extra scans at 26 32 and 36 weeks anyway so I'm sure they will just check it then. So glad it can move so that's out my mind at ease thankyou xx
