So for all the ladies who have had a successful vbac which did you prefer recovery wise your c section or your vaginal birth. I had a really easy first c section and my recovery was amazing ( was up and walking within a couple hours) and i was just wondering which you found the easiest to recover from. Cause im on the fence a bit between wanting a vbac or another c section

Following. I have had two previous sections the first was emergency and the second elective. Recovery for the first was great but the second one was hell. I am undecided as to whether to go for a vbac or just go with what i know.

My c-section recovery was extremely awful and my vbac recovery was absolutely amazing! I personally would never choose to have a c-section again. My first one was unnecessary. Recovery was day and night difference though. If you are able to have a vbac I say go for it. It’s a wonderful experience and has a lot less risks than a repeat c-section. Especially if you want to have more kids in the future because a lot of doctors limit you to a certain number of c-sections.

Funny that you ask...i have had a c-section and a VBAC, I found the recovery of the c-section to be a lot better for me since I tore (3rd degree inside,2nd outside). But the delivery itself, i prefer VBAC and definitely will try for another VBAC if I have another baby.

VBAC all the way!!! My recovery was night and day from my c-section. If I ever have another baby I hope for another vbac.

Vbac for sure! I had a scheduled CS due to my daughter being breech and 20 months later had my second daughter with a VBAC. The labour was pretty smooth but the recovery was awesome. I only had a 1st degree tear and in general felt like myself way faster. I’m going for my second vbac any day now. I am excited and scared - hoping the experience and recovery is as good as it was last time.
