I was 10 days late with my 2 and a half year old and had my waters broke and the drip for start labour, this ultimately ended in a csection . For all you ladies in the uk trying for a vbac or who have had a vbac before. Are you alloud to be induced at all after a csection ??

My ob told me no induction after a csection. So unless I go into labor on my own before my due date I have to have another csection.

Going into labor before your due date is 100% unnecessary! ACOG States it is absolutely safe to go to 42 weeks with a vbac. If I were you Amoniii I would push for 42 weeks! If you really want a vbac you normally have to fight for it. You can induce with vbac but it’s not recommended as it increases your risk of rupture (by a very small amount).

I had an emergency C-section with my first three years ago, I was 41+6 days, induced and had the hormone drip in. My daughters head was in the wrong position so she got stuck and unfortunately they weren't able to rectify the problem. I'm now pregnant with my second and have decided to go for a vbac, i too am a little concerned about going overdue and not starting naturally with this pregnancy. As I really would like to avoid another C-section.

My doc said she had no issues inducing or my vbac if it came to that. Thankfully, it did not.
