Thank you someone who agrees apparently I'm "obsessed" with my baby and can't leave him alone and I just say yes I am obsessed with him he's mine and I love him..

Good for you ! Why shouldn't you be possessed you made him you protected him for 9months and waited to see him ! If you can't cuddle your own child what's the point In having children ? Xx

I don't mind admitting that I am also obsessed with my babies, currently have my littlest bubba asleep on me and my biggest bubba snuggled up on the settee with me, I'm making the most of it whilst they still want mummy cuddles, they grow too fast and will soon be telling us no! Enjoy xx

Even if your housework wasn't done what's their issue? Would they rather you left him in a corner and didn't bother at all? You only get them this little once you enjoy it and ignore the miseries! X

In currently watching Eastenders while my baby is asleep on me also I just love it to watch how peaceful and calm he is with his mummy :) xx

Enjoy it I am... Ppl say shouldn't hold baby to much or else they will get to dependant on being picked up all the time which I can see could be a problem but when they are so small u just want to make the most of it while u can. Like ppl say they are not little to long x

But he isn't though he is perfectly happy to sit by himself and Iv been doing this for 7 weeks now I just want to be able to sit and hold and cuddle my son without getting glared at

You can't cuddle your baby enough! You keep cuddling that little boy, ignore others x

My son was 2 this week and I have always cuddled him as much as I can and still do! Well try to anyway when he'll let me!

I did stick to a bedtime routine and did put him down etc but from him being born I would just sit and cuddle him and kiss his little cheeks as much as I could.

He's currently charging round the house with no pants on and wellies and just threw a plastic Apple at my nose, get those lovely little baby cuddles while you can xxx

I see 18 year olds all the time who can't sleep because they need a cuddle from their mummy.... Not!! People should mind their own!

Imagine being a baby in the womb, warm, protected, being fed all day and night. Then bam! You are in a bright new world that's hot or cold or both some days, your belly feels funny until this boob/bottle is put in your mouth, then you get this urge to strain and feel all uncomfortable in your tummy. You really want that warm feeling again and to hear that gentle this that soothed you. Then a person with a familiar voice picks you up and you feel all cosy again.... But all of a sudden you are in a cold thing and expected to sleep!

Babies need cuddles.... I hate how people say you are making a rod for your own back! X

I got this all the time too!! 'Your making a big mistake always holding him' ? piss off.

My son did want holding most of the time because obviously he felt safe with me, but now he's 4 months and never wants cuddles!! He'd rather go to sleep by himself laid on the settee or in his cot even after 4 months of co-sleeping! So enjoy it while you can because I really miss it ?

You can't spoil them with love. I say sod them. There will be the time he'll be to old to puck up and hold and you will wish you could do it more.

I sat and cuddled my baby and said sod the housework, that got done at night before I went you bed. I also did babywearing. I have a very confident, strong willed independent little girl (also known at the moment as the monster) cuddle your baby as much as you want and sod everyone else. Xxx

Iv started baby wearing too and we both love it he falls straight to sleep and I can get so much done :)

Hold him close for as long as you can, before you know he will be off exploring. Enjoy every moment, tell them to mind they're own business I wish I had when people tried to tell me not to spoil my baby xx
