I feel as though we fight for people to stay in our lives even though we know they don't want to. All my life I have felt as though I was fighting an unseen force that was pulling people away from me. At what point do we just let them go no matter how hard it will be? There are some people in my life right now I feel are on the fence.

I'm so sorry about that pp. I remember reading your story about that before he was born. I didn't even know you had your baby yet! It sucks because it hurts so much to see people so effortlessly leave your life; leaving you to wonder why it's so easy for them.

Accepting what you just said is how you let them. Understanding they don't want to be in your life and moving on with it.

It's not exactly like they are leaving me alone if that makes sense. I won't bother them but once they've noticed they ask to hang out or something. So I'm confused on how to tell them to either leave or stay because I don't think they know which one they want to do.

I was told very young, that you should never stay in a place where you feel that your presence is unwanted. Also I live by the saying, You know it's over, when you no longer have tears to shed.
