I used a shimmery cardstock for the base (I found it in the scrapbook isle at Joanns Fabrics), Regular fabric (O measured mynsons head and had them cut the fabric to size), a glittery foam sheet and letter stickers.
I glued paw patrol fabric to the adhesive part of the cardstock (I used elmers glue all) and when it was dry I cut out the crown shape. Then I used a hole punch on the back and laced ribbon through it (like shoelaces). I finished it off by cutting the #1 out of glitter foam paper and glued it to the crown and glued the letter stickers to it.

Nope, not at all. Maybe about an hour and a half total work time. Materials only cost $11.
