Anyone know anything about these seats? They have good customer ratings and safety ratings. We just need something simple for our trip to Albama (we are driving from New York) cause we don't think he'll be comfortable for an extended time (2-3 hours between rest stops if possible) smooshed in his infant seat. With the upcoming trip we just don't have the $150+ to spend on a fancy seat until after the holidays. I'm just afraid of a $40 carseat being too good to be true lol.

Adding: We are driving from NY to Alabama and back with stop overs in Virginia. It's an 8 hour drive (without stops) to Virginia and we want to try to limit our stops of we can to every 2-3 hours. So I want him to be comfy. Also our infant seat is the maxi cosi Mico ap.

I was just looking at this car seat yesterday I'm debating on it they had a few with good reviews. I'm not spending hundreds of dollars on a car seat

I posted it in the May group too and got good responses, you should read those ones.. I'm pretty much sold on getting it.
