We've finally been referred to a pediatric opthimologist for Damiens pupil. His right pupil is always dilated larger than the left (in all types of light except direct sunlight). We first noticed it at 3 months, but the Dr brushed it off at his 4 month. I brought it back up again at his 6 month yesterday cause his father and I both have visions problems as do most of our family and the Dr we saw definitely agreed we should have it checked out just to make sure. So now I'm anxiously waiting for the call to make the appointment cause once again google makes everything worse.

My best friend has a dilated pupil. She picked up herpes while laying on the floor in a hospital her mom worked at as kid. She’s fine. But doctors always marvel at her one pupil - it scares the neurology interns?

I'm sure everything will be ok, it's a great thing he is being seen this early. Always a better chance of catching something and correcting it quicker. Just stay off Google! I know, easier said than done. I'm a chronic Googler!
