Nighttime Waking
We've been very luckily with Damien when it comes to sleeping. He's been sleeping through the night, however it seems since he hit 5 months on the 26th he's been waking up during the night to eat. We haven't changed anything in his routine either. He eats 7-8oz and falls asleep around 9/10pm and wakes up around 4/5am. Even if we dream feed him around midnight he still wakes up around 4/5am and wants to eat. He used to sleep from 9/10pm until 7/8am. Anyone else's baby suddenly stop sleeping through the night? We're completely lost here.

Yep having the same issue with Clara. She only eats a minimal amount too! Which makes no sense. She is in bed at 7 drinking 7-8 oz then up around 12:30 for 3-5 oz then again at 4:30 for 4 oz????

It's so weird, isn't it? It happened so suddenly too, like he turned 5 months and someone switched a flip. I'm ok with it on the weekends, but I have to wake up at 6am for work during the week. Luckily DH feeds him, but I'm a lite sleeper so I still wake up. I am so drained. ?

I'm also having a hard time falling back to sleep after so I'm up for a couple of hours after the feed too.... I hear you in the tiredness!!!!!!!
It will get better right????

Lol, I hope so, otherwise I have to get used to drinking 3 cups of coffee to get me going lmao.?

Yupp Zaman is waking up twice a night since he turned five months. His appetite seems to have grown overnight. Trying to catch up with solids.

Yes! I know the food will help, but same here. Jude gets up at least once a night again to eat. And once early morning too. So tired ?

Same here. Jack was finally sleeping a good 6-8 hour stretch at first and then the past few days he’s been waking every 3 hours. The only way I can get him back to sleep is to feed him. I’m chalking it up to teething though. He’s been chomping on everything more than normal lately. And I remember his sleep going down the drain when he first started teething 2 months ago

Yup! This week he's now decided to wake up every 4 hours for a bottle and his whole schedule shifted back two hours. So now he's going to bed around 8:30 and waking up for the day 6am where as before he was going to be around 10 and sleeping till 8

Ah yes! That too! He went from going down between 7-8 and waking around 7-8. To going down around 6-630 and now wakes up before 7. I can’t get him to sleep later :/

So, since I'm not alone (and not the only one sleep deprived) I say we go find this magical fairy who flies around waiting for our babies to turn 5 months old and sprinkles wake up dust on them once they do.. and we take her down lol.

Yes! Where's the sand man when you need him!! ?

I’m with you Mary! Let’s beat her to a pulp!

Yes!!! It's so unfair! We've been very spoiled with her sleep, because she also slept 11 hours straight. But there was a point in time where she would wake up at least once during the night. Since we put her on solids though (2 weeks ago) she has been better. Went back to sleeping through the night. Except last night.....she woke up 30 mins after I put her down and would not go back to sleep until 4 1/2 hours later. We were up til 3am with her!! Then she woke up at 830am. For the day!! Ugh. This momma is tired today!
