DS2 (3 months) has a cardiology appt tomorrow for a heart murmur and I'm a nervous wreck. We have a family history of congenital heart defects on both sides so that doesn't help ease my mind. Any encouragement on positive stories to keep my mind off everything that can be wrong? Good thoughts and well wishes are always welcome too.

Update: His heart is just fine! The cardiologist thinks the Dr mistook the heavy breathing he does when he's excited for a murmur. His heart looks great. We are so relieved.

@Rina he's 3 months, the Dr noticed it at his 2 month appt.

Heart murmurs are quite common and a lot of times not all that serious. I was born with 2 and by adulthood they had both disappeared. I also have a family history of heart disease and I'm in very good health at 32 years old.
