Made my day.

I was in the bathroom at Target changing a massive blowout Damien conveniently had the second I took him from his carseat and feeling a little frazzled cause it was my first time out alone with him for more than a quick in and out trip. I got him cleaned up and redressed and got him strapped back in to the chest carrier. Right then as I'm about to leave the bathroom I'm approached by a little old lady who of course starts fawning over Damien. He's smiling at her while she's asking the typical questions. Then out of nowhere she says " he is such a happy little boy, you can tell just what a great mother you are, keep up the great work he's a sweetheart" I melted and couldn't stop smiling. Here I am hair going in every direction spit up on my shirt and anxious cause it's my first time out alone and all this lady saw is how happy my baby was. I thanked her and I hope she realizes exactly how much she made my day. ?
