SAHD After much discussion and a lot of math, DH and I have decided when I go back to work in…

My husband is a sahd. It works for us. It sounds awful but I hate staying home with the kids all day, but I'm in the military so I couldn't stay home if I wanted to. Hubby goes to school (not over the summer though) and the days he is in school the hourly care daycare on base will watch the kids. Some men can handle it better than others. The responsibilities are endless with cooking, cleaning, appointments and such.

My husband is SAHD who also works from home.

We take care of her in shifts. He will do the feeding around 1/2am since he works around that time anyway. Then I take over until morning time/time to leave for school. I take her again once I come back home. So we have about 50/50 split.

I love it. He loves it because he gets aloe time with her.

Thank you guys! Its It's a big step but we're really excited about it. His job just treats him like ? and he wants nothing more than to get his Vet tech degree so I'm glad to see it works out for others as well.

I think it's great when a dad wants to stay home and care for the children. Sounds like you have a good father there!

My SO is also a sahd it will be three years this October. He works Friday and Saturdays so it works out perfect for us. Less than three weeks away and I go back to work so far I have been giving him a break so we'll see how he can handle my 4 yr old and 3 month old ?

@shari thanks. I feel the same way, plus seeing how much he loves both our boys just make him that much sexier to me as well
