You are a strong momma to handle your baby crying for 12 hours!!! Mine cries from colic on a daily for 2-3 hours. I have no one to help me so its all me. Most nights i cry with her.

Yea, it was definitely rough. Nothing worked. We tried everything on earth. I think he just finally wore himself out.. but man was today rough

My boy cries from 7:30-10:30 every night after my fiancé has left for work so we just cry together ?

My daughter was having her fussy episode as we were laying down getting ready for sleep. Nothing I did worked. I finally got out of the bed and put my Moby wrap on and just started walking around the house..she is knocked out now! woohoo! Hopefully she stays sleep when I take her out.

It's such a beautiful thing when they sleep.

Mary do not s*** on yourself. You got through it and everyone is alive and well. I have ripped Cesar a new one in the middle of the night many times when I had a hard time dealing with Jude being fussy. They both survived. We all did. Get some rest yourself. Xo

You did just fine love. It's hard to keep it together when you're at wits end. I've actually pretty much just thrown the baby at my husband from frustration a couple of times. (Metaphorical throw not literal). It's tough because your mind just starts turning to mush at some point. You got through it and tomorrow is a new day.

Try not to let the mom guilt get you. I broke down and gave my son formula after he nursed for 4 hours and would not settle for multiple nights. I desperately needed sleep so I took the easy way out and then couldn't sleep because I felt so guilty. I felt like I betrayed both of us. I felt myself taking my frustration out on my husband so I ended up taking a few minutes to cry in the bathroom alone. I gave myself some credit for recognizing the crazy. You're doing great!

Do not feel that way at all! Fussy baby + other kids can be a tough one to gasp at times especially when our husband really don't have it as bad even when I ask him to do anything the boys insist mommy does it! Today baby girl was fussy as well anytime I put her down on top of the boys fighting about everything and then hubby saying how I'm acting different not eviction enough towards him I just about lost my mind now they are sound asleep and I'm getting some cuddles in with hubby. Do not beat yourself up mama ?

Thank you so much ladies. Damien just slept a full 4 hours and hubby was asleep so I got 4 hours of me time, then he woke up ate and went right back to sleep so I'm a lot more relaxed. Its just hard cause I remember my first son.. He was colic and had GERD.. So he was a nightmare and his father (not DH) was a horrible human who spent the majority of his life drinking, going out to clubs and ignoring us, so I think today just brought back everything and kicked anxiety into high gear adding into an already heightened situation. I'm gonna try to catch my 3.5 hours of sleep before the 5am feeding.

I was very thankful for this post last night. We have a baby 4 weeks today. Who I'm pretty sure may have colic. It is very very hard and like most of you I just end up crying with her till she cries herself to sleep. My hubby has been great. And my mom will be here tonight. Never though I was going to need this much support for such a small human.

I almost went crazy yesterday too! So we put our condo up for sale and I get a text message to confirm a showing with ONLY a hour notice. Of course you have to say yes so I did. Before that I had been nursing Isabella pretty much for hours, she wouldn't let me put her down and when I finally got my son down for a nap I was going to try and get her to sleep so I could nap. Well I had to hurry up and pick the condo up from top to bottom but she kept crying everytime I put her down so I put her in my baby carrier and she goes to sleep but I start sweating buckets while cleaning and holding her bc she is a hot baby. Then I had to wake my son up and load our 2 dogs in the car, my son is crying bc he is still tired and Isabella is crying bc she is hungry. So I get those 2 in and go to my mother in laws and Isabella is screaming the whole way and my son is yelling "STOP IT" I was so tired I felt like I was going to fall asleep at the wheel. Meanwhile my husband is sitting on his ass at work while I'm cleaning a house getting kids and dogs out in less than a hour and he makes a comment to me that I do nothing all day..... ???????

We all loose our s*** at times. That's what mom's do. 6 weeks and only one freak out? Doing good in my mind. I have to give my 2 yr old s*** everyday and when my SO comes home he hears about it and I go to bed mad. I wake up kiss the kids and start all over.
