Did anyone do freezer meals?
Did anyone do freezer meals?
I wasn't going to, but i just spent the past two days making freezer meals for after the baby is here. And I'm so glad I did! It's one less thing to worry about and we won't need to spend money on take out OR forget to eat.

Post recipes! I plan on doing this with some of my free time on leave before baby comes.

I'm thinking about it. I know I won't feel like cooking once the baby is here but I also don't feellike cookingnow either lol. I'm going to try to at least make a few meals tomorrow. My C-Section is scheduled for Friday so I don't have much time.

Yes! Finished them up last week. Latest batch
I made: lasagna stuffed shells, meatloaf, chicken burgers, banana bread, cherry coffee cake, pork tenderloin sandwiches, chorizo & sweet potato enchiladas. I hosted a Wildtree Freezer Meal workshop about four weeks ago as well which stocked me with 14 meals as well. We are already eating 1 a week on days I work as I am running out of energy. We won't eat them every day post baby but it does take the strain off of meal planning on exhausting days!

I looked on Pinterest for ideas. This is what I mainly used: http://diaryofafitmommy.com/15-freezer-meals-before-your-baby-arrives/
I love the idea of banana breads and what not! I think I'll add that too!

Wish I had the freezer space to do this. I did it with my first but our big freezer broke and I debated not replacing it
