Hello moms. I am a ftm here with a very hearty fear of miscarrying so I went onto amazon and got a fetal Doppler. I got said fetal Doppler in the mail this morning and I could not be happier with it. I heard my baby’s heartbeat and tiny little kicks for the first time today and just knowing I can keep it with me and hear my little potatoes heartbeat anytime I want puts my fear to ease. So if you are like me, or high risk or just want to be able to hear your baby’s heartbeat outside of the ob office I highly suggest this to you. I got the sonib fetal Doppler with the ultrasound gel and I 10/10 recommend. Also it is indeed picking up the baby’s heartbeat. The bpm is completely different I even hovered the wand above my own heart to check for sure. ??

I didn’t use a doppler with my first pregnancy, but after our miscarriage in May everything had me on edge for this baby. We were able to find his heart beat around 9 1/2 weeks! It’s the best sound ever.

I've It's thought about doing that but then I'm like, well if I can't find the heartbeat I'll freak out lol...was it easy to find? I'm 9w

I heard my baby’s heartbeat at 9w1d and couldn’t find it again until 9w6d and now I hear it every day! I’m 10w4d and it was super strong today! He/she had to be sitting in the front because he/she moved when I found him/her. I can’t wait to know if it’s a boy or girl this is hard lol. I find it easiest to find in the morning after I pee, before I get hungry so there’s nothing else going on since it’s still early. I used YouTube so I knew how to find it this early and I don’t use the heart rate on the screen I just count for 15 secs and x4

@katie it took me a couple of minutes but I wasn’t looking in the right place. Look closer to your pelvic bone and it’s super easy. My baby loves to move around and freak me out lol because I’ll loose the heartbeat. But as long as you have the speaker as loud as it can go, or even use headphones (I prefer them but my family always wants to hear too so) then you can hear baby really well
