Mirena Removal
So I had my mirena removed last Tuesday and I had withdrawal bleeding for 5 days. Do I count that as a period? I’m not really sure of my cycle right now because I had my daughter in March and I didn’t get a period until had the mirena inserted in August. I really only spotted the few months I had it in so I don’t know when to start testing for ovulation. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Here's my story... had mirena a total of 5yrs. Had it removed March 17. Started bleeding March 23 and had o first week of April. Don't remember exact day. So it is very possable you will o just a week or 2 after removal. I would start testing now n see how it goes.

I may not be any help.. but I just had my mirena out on November 22nd and had regular periods on it.. but anyways I asked my doctor if I should bleed/spot after getting my mirena out and she told me maybe a tiny amount on the day of but most likely I wouldn't have any bleeding/spotting... and I didn't at all I'm currently waiting for AF to show up since removal last month(she should be here next week ?hopefully so we can actually try this cycle lol)

When I got off I bled for 4 days 17 days later I ovulated and got my period 28 days after getting it out so basically when I got it taken out I had a real period

After I had mine removed I had removal bleeding for 5 days. Then 51 days later I had my first period. It lasted 14 days. Now I'm waiting on my next period.
