Bleeding after mirena
So I had my mirena removed Tuesday because dh and I ready for another lo. Ever since then I’ve been passing clots and just bleeding profusely. I had one a couple years ago before I got pregnant with dd, but I don’t remember this happening when it was taken out. Is this normal?

I bled quite heavily for about four days when mine was removed. It’s called withdrawal bleeding or something like that. Good luck!

I bled for a solid probably 3 or 4 days also when mine was first removed if I remember correctly. I had horrid cramps too but they had to go in DEEP to remove mine. My body kind of swallowed mine up. They got it by ultrasound

Hopefully it stops soon, I’ve been cramping and just bleeding so much. I’m glad to know it’s normal and not serious. I just need it to go away because I’m ready to get to the baby making!

Once i had mine removed i think i started bleeding the same day , for about 3-4 days . Within two months i found out i was pregnant, on the other hand my sister had hers removed didn’t bled right away and is still currently TTC and has had hers removed for about 4 months now .
