Crawling strange
So my dd has been crawling on handed and knees since she was six months. Now all of a sudden she is crawling with her right knee up with that foot on the floor and still using her left knees. It almost looks like she’s going to try to stand up but then she just keeps moving. Is this a normal thing?

Yup it's normal. My son would crawl like that but he would also push cars that way.

She’s been standing up by herself and walked a step a few days ago. I was kind of hoping she wouldn’t start walking for another month or two. She’s already getting into everything just crawling.

All my cousins babies did that. And walked early or getting ready to stand up?

My dd does this. Crawling since 6 months, at some point she started crawling with 1 leg up and sort of not using he other. She also stands and is trying to walk so maybe that contributes.

My son does this and he's 7 1/2 months! It's almost like he's in a tarzan stance ?

I,think babies do this to practice getting onto a standing position without needing to pull on something.

Lol totally normal unless you think she’s in pain or something.. they’re just learning their worlds and how to get where they want fast enough. My LO just properly crawled for the first time today but she prefers to worm belly flop everywhere bc she gets around faster ??

Lol I don’t know if I’m ready for a walker yet! She crawls so fast everywhere she goes, and she’s always trying to get on the floor and pull up on something.
