I looked into it but changed my mind when I discovered that the child would be given your details and would able to contact you when they are older, in the same way an adoption works. I just wouldn't want that at all, makes it too real that it's technically my child. I'd love to do it if it wasn't for that x
I looked into before getting sterilized and I was the same as Sam the minute I seen they can contact me when they are older put me right off. I have my kids and I love them I dont want someone else's kid knocking on my door in 18 years time saying hiya ? to be able to give someone that gift of really consider opting out of having to give my details. Xx
Same as the previous comments, I looked into it and was really up for doing it until I found out they could have your details and find you. The thought of an unknown child getting in contact with me and possibly wanting a Relationship with me and my children was just something I don’t think I could do. If there was a way of doing it completely anonymous I would as I think it’s such a lovely thing to do
I tried but when they did blood test I’m apparently not fertile enough borderline on infertile. I find it hard to believe when my little boy was conceived within 1st month of trying ?.
The future doesn’t bother me tbh as they wouldn’t be knocking on my door to find out why I gave them up (like adoption etc) I would be giving another woman the gift of children which I think outweighs that for me. It’s the logistic side that is making me wonder...fitting everything into my life as it is now x
